Three-layer solid wood panels are wood panels made up of three layers, with the outer layer made of 5mm or 3.8mm thick oak or ash veneer and the middle layer made of finger-jointed panel or plywood. Three-layer boards are slightly more stable compared to edge glued and finger-jointed panels.
